The legal action brought by Competitive Foods, owner of the Australian hamburger chain Hungry Jack's and other fast food ventures, against Burger King Corp is discussed. A court has now ruled that Burger King must pay damages of A$71 million to Competitive Foods for breaching its franchise deal.
