There are five steps that can be followed to form a knowledge management program in a corporation. The company should have a chief knowledge officer, the library should become the knowledge repository, the knowledge should flow through the corporation, a reward system should be established to ensure employees share information and the company should become a knowledge not a learning organization.

A bargaining approach to profit sharing in joint ventures

Article Abstract:

A Bayesian bargaining game is used as the model for analyzing the effects of disclosure of private information of costs on the bargaining agreement of profit sharing arrangements in a joint venture under information asymmetry both in first-best and second-best environments. The results indicate that the joint venture net profit should be allocated equally in all cases.
