... While due diligence is brushed aside

Article Abstract:

Many of those frauds have occurred because foreign companies have failed to do adequate due diligence. Article Abstract:

China's economic expansion has been accompanied, since 1993, by a rise in domestic debt and a decline in return on assets before interest. The country's growth is unsustainable, under such circumstances. The basic solution is for China to create a true market economy. In order to do so, the country must marketize the financial system, privatize the real economy, and institute the rule of law.
