A methodology for priority setting with application to software development process

Article Abstract:

The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a methodology originally developed for structuring and analyzing multi-variable complex systems. Its basic concepts were extended by incorporating two factors that include the uncertainty of preference comparison process and the dependence of components and elements of hierarchy. The resulting methodology provides an effective way of quantitative resource allocation that enhances the software development process.

Software reliability and cost models: perspectives, comparison, and practice

Article Abstract:

Computer software has become a part of our daily life and other critical applications. Studies in software reliability engineering that include nonhomogeneous Poisson process (NHPP) software reliability models, NHPP models with environmental factors and cost models and their applications are presented.
