Article Abstract:

Central bankers include Federal Reserve head, Alan Greenspan, who is a musician as well as an economist, and who has been seen as the best chairman of the Federal Reserve in its history. Bank of Japan's Masaru Hayami is a year older, at 74-years-old and is the world's oldest central bank governor. European Central Bank president, Wim Duisenberg, is 64-years-old. Central bank pay varies, with the Bank of Italy offering high pay to its head, more than is earned by the Federal Reserve chairman.
