Research is presented concerning random scheduling and the amount of redirection of tasks which can be made to non-specialists from specialists in a service system model. Methods of discerning random assignment probabilities are discussed.

A generalization of symmetric queues
Article Abstract:
An analysis was undertaken with regards to the extension of the insensitivity results for symmetric queues. The extension specifically deals with a situation in which the significant parameters are determined by several classes of customers present in the queue. The analysis involves a more direct utilization of supplementary variables method than the stages method.
