ABSIL LAUNCHES ALL-IN-ONE SERVICE

+Alcatel Business Systems (India) Ltd, a 51:49 joint venture between Alcatel Business Systems International and United Telecoms Ltd, has introduced an all-in-one service, which provides communication system and networks service solutions through a single telephone number. The service also includes consultancy, project planning, design, implementation and management, hardware and software installation, maintenance and remote network monitoring services. (khr)

SODEXHO LAUNCHES GIFT CHEQUE SCHEMES

Article Abstract:

Sodexho Pass has introduced two new products into the Rs10,000 crore Indian corporate gift market. The products include Gold and Platinum gift cheques. The gift cheques can be used in 150 locations and in a range of shops, restaurants, jewellery showrooms or travel agencies. The products are aimed at the corporate and bulk buyers. Sodexho will be introducing the cheques in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. (ag)

RAJAN RAHEJA GROUP LAUNCHES CINE CABLE

Rajan Raheja group has launched a cable network movie channel called Cine Cable Channel from October 19, 1998. The group had earlier bought BiTV Cable Network, UCN Space, Mumbai. It has brought all its cable businesses under Chic Displays and Networks. It holds 50 percent stake in the cable television distribution of Asianet, Kerala. It has a base of 15 lakh subscribers all over India. (rk)
