EarthLink says net loss widened in 3rd quarter

EarthLink Inc. posted a higher net loss for the 2001 third-quarter. The company posted a $77 million loss for the period, compared to $72.5 million loss during the same 2000 period.

AOL to double its ad spending and puts account up for review
