Abstract angles

Article Abstract:

Modern paintings by young Japanese artists remain a sound investment amid the crash in prices of other works of art. Investors with an eye for modern art and discernment of artistic potential are advised to invest in the still reasonably priced art pieces. Modern paintings by old Japanese artists which used to auction at 130 to 170 million yen a piece have gone down to 50 to 90 million yen, whereas prices of works by young artists have remained stable at about 1 million yen a piece. An investor must be ready to shell out at least 500,000 yen and expect a reasonable return on investment in ten years.

Tailored to fit

Article Abstract:

Sino-Japanese economic relations are booming as businessmen believe that the two economies are complimentary to each other. Japan is buying Chinese agricultural products and consumer durables and exporting sophisticated products to China. Japanese investments in China have increased substantially over the past few years as Japan recognizes the strategic importance of promoting prosperity and stability in China. However, Japanese investors are troubled by China's record of uneven economic reforms and inadequate infrastructural facilities and remain cautious.

Article Abstract:

Japan plans to come up with its first principal environmental policy that includes a much debated proposal to tax companies for the polluting effects of carbon dioxide that emanate from burning fossil fuels. This provision is sure to encounter a lot of opposition from politicians and and affected companies alike for both political and financial reasons. Thus, the proposed law is not sure of being passed.
