Act to save 'a masterpiece'

Article Abstract:

The Villa Cavrois building in Croix, France, has fallen into a state of bad repair even though many appreciate its splendid design. The Robert Mallet-Stevens building was built in 1932. It is around 60 meters long and contains a host of impressive features including a cylindrical staircase tower. Architects from the Association de Sauvegarde de la Villa Cavrois have asked French government official Philippe Douste-Blazy to remedy the situation. The addresses of the association and of Douste-Blazy's are given.
