Agency execs take consulting route

Article Abstract:

Advertising executives are resigning from their posts to form marketing consulting firms. Two examples are Andy Macaulay, VP and director of strategic planing of Roche Macaulay and Partners, and Geoff Arnold, managing director of Publicis Source. They are starting their consultancies outside of advertising agencies such as MacLaren McCann who is funding Arnoldi to be in a better position to help clients, something they believe cannot be delivered within an ad agency's structure.
