Alcoholic drinks in Bulgaria

Article Abstract:

Bulgaria's alcoholic beverage industry experienced a decline in volume sales from 1990-1994. Imported products were considerably more expensive than their local counterparts. The industry suffered serious losses in production output during the early 1990s and only the beer industry is showing signs of recovery. Real value sales are expected to grow by 34% and volume sales by 24% between 1995 and 2000.
