John Elkann is heir apparent of the Agnelli family, an industrial family dynasty manifested in Fiat S.p.A. of Italy. Mr. Elkann at thirty years old is the Vice Chairman of Fiat S.p.A. and the grandson of the founder, the late Gianni Agnelli. The Italian automobile company is noted for producing farm equipment and Ferrari's.

Fiat posts profit on asset sales, turnaround at auto unit

Article Abstract:

Fiat S.p.A. of Italy posted a 38 million Euros ($46 million) profit in the fourth quarter. The restructuring plan of Chief Executive Officer Sergio Marchionne has produced results in the automobile division. The profit turnaround is also due to asset sales.
