Invading Hungary

Article Abstract:

Business Design Group have been commissioned to design a new identity for the Hungarian Post Office, to replace that of Gabor Papp, designed during the 70's. The new design combines the traditional symbol of a horn for the post and Saint Stephen's crown. Research was carried out by Gallap to see if the design would be acceptable. The design will now be used on post office vans, staff uniforms and post boxes. There is concern that a Hungarian design company was not commissioned to design the logo. Many of these criticise the design as too superficial and trendy.
