One time police officer Zhang Yaochun reminisces about her life as a top cop and why she is on the run from her former colleagues who have vowed to get rid of her. The tough speaking cop speaks about the power wielded by the men in uniform and how they misuse the power but her story may well be a reflection of the times.

A high price to pay for a job

The deplorable condition of Chinese migrant laborers has been described. ChinaEs construction ministry estimates that employers owed $12 billion in wages to migrant laborers last year. The steps taken by Chinese government to mitigate the problem has been presented.
