Corobor Systemes has introduced the Messir line of aviation and meteorological information systems. The Messir-AFTN is a message-switching system designed to automatically receive and route AFTN messages according to ICAO standards. It can handle flight plans, NOTAMs, AIS, meteorological, distress, urgency, flight regularity, administrative and service messages. It comes with standard hardware and is fully-duplicated in hot stand-by mode.

Selector Group of New Zealand reports the continued success of its psychometric assessment for staff recruitment. Called Selector Personnel Assessment, the PC-based application is capable of measuring more than 90 dimensions of human behavior, including workstyles, stress-handling capabilities and vocational interests. It was designed for selecting air traffic controllers as well as pilots, operations personnel and ground- handling staff.
