Article Abstract:

A unique strategy for criteria weighting, which is usually an essential element in the selection of a finite set of alternatives involving multiple conflicting criteria for performing a particular task, is presented. A fuzzy knowledge base was established to formulate the imprecise weighting process used by the decision maker under imprecision and vagueness. As a result, criteria weights are obtained by simply specifying the state of each individual task requirement.
