AstraZeneca, Bristol-Myers to team up on two drugs

AstraZeneca PLC of the United Kingdom and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. of the United States have entered a partnership to develop two drugs to treat Type 2 diabetes. AstraZeneca PLC is paying Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. $100 million to develop the experimental drugs with an additional $1.25 billion when the drugs are developed and if they come to market.
