Austria: Vienna needs third runway?

Article Abstract:

The director of Vienna Airport, Herbert Kaufmann, has rejected suggestions that cooperation with Bratislava Airport in Slovakia would make a third runway at Vienna redundant. He claimed that the third runway was particularly needed for transfer passengers, which make up one third of the passengers who pass through the airport. It would be impossible to bus passengers to Bratislava in the 25 minutes it takes for a transfer at Vienna.
