BAA pretax profit slips 6.6%, hitting just above outlook

BAA PLC, an airports operator in U.K., posted a loss of 6.6% in profits to 142 million pounds (231.4 million euros) for the first quarter, from 152 million pounds a year earlier but slightly exceeded analysts' expectations.

BAA's pretax profit rises before exceptional items
