The deposits of the Corporation Bank (CB) increased to Rs9,300 crore in 1997-98 (Rs2,850 crore in 1992-93). Its total business is expected to grow at a CAGR of 27 percent in the next 2 years. Its deposits have increased by 40 percent growth, compared to 18.9 percent of the industry and advances by 43 percent (18.9 percent). It established CorpBank Homes Ltd, its housing finance subsidiary, in May 1998. It has 581 branches, mostly in the western and southern regions of India.
