BP Amoco-led group presents plan to ship Azerbaijani gas to Turkey

A group headed by BP Amoco PLC has introduced a plan to ship natural gas from the new Shah Deniz field in Azerbaijan's side of the Caspian Sea to Turkey. The group is anxious to conclude a sales agreement by the end of 2000.
