Bob Dole, neighbour and statesman

Article Abstract:

The presidential campaign of Bob Dole seems troubled because there have been some 10 million new jobs created during the Bill Clinton administration, and because there have been Dole gaffes over issues such as tobacco and abortion. But this could change if Dole would emphasize his own rich life.

Article Abstract:

The gap in public opinion polls following the presidential campaign debate widened in favor of Clinton, and Dole's momentum slowed. Dole may begin to attack Clinton personally. Dole may also abandon California to place more effort on states he has a better chance of winning.

Article Abstract:

Bob Dole does not have the personality to make overt criticisms of Pres Clinton's character, although numerous issues give Dole ammunition. The public does not seem to mind that Clinton may have been involved in some scandals.
