Bourse alleges traders broke rules in Sweden

Article Abstract:

Credit Suisse First Boston traders, along with traders from a Swedish brokerage firm, are believed to have broken some Stockholm stock exchange rules in an attempt to manipulate the market. The stock exchange, whose nine-member disciplinary committee will investigate the charges, made the allegations. The committee could fine the traders as much as $1.2 million. Some of the traders could also be charged criminally.

ING Groep to review U.S. investment banking

The company made this decision because of increasing salary packages and industry consolidation. The review could result in a shuttering, sale, or scaling-back of the U.S. business.
