Bridgestone slashes outlook

Article Abstract:

Bridgestone Corp. of Japan has forecast a 35 percent decrease in net profit projection to 65 billion Yen ($559 million) from 100 billion Yen for 2006. Expected revenue decreases are due to higher materials costs and the closure of an American tire plant.
