Britannic agrees to pay E525.5 million to Britannia for fund, life acquisitions

The article discusses Britannic PLC's plans to acquire 75% of Britannia Building Society's fund-management unit and all of its life-assurance unit in a deal worth GBP346 million (Euro525.5 million). The life-assurance company said that the acquisitions still would not give it what the company needs to compete in the life and pensions industry.
