Business services, the new engine of French regional growth

Article Abstract:

A study of the evolution of employment in the French regions, especially in the business service firms is discussed. A 'shift and share' type of analysis shows that a primary decentralization in tertiary activities especially pertaining to ancillary producer services seem to have been emerging since the 1990s.
