CA snags another software maker

In a move that reflects the fact that private companies are increasingly less able to pull off initial public offerings, Wily Technology Inc. has accepted an acquisition offer from Computer Associated International Inc. Wily, a venture-capital-backed company that experienced a roughly 70% growth in revenues in 2005, will become a division of Computer Associated International.

Kodak sharpens digital focus on its best customers: Women

Article Abstract:

Eastman Kodak Co. of the United States is target marketing women for their main line digital cameras. Digital photographic prints made at home have fallen to 50 percent from 70 percent and digital photographic prints made in stores have risen from 21 percent to 35 percent. Eastman Kodak Co. posted $13.5 billion in revenue last year, 68 percent in photgraphy sales.

Kodak reports a narrower loss: sales decline 10%
