CKS Group to be acquired by USWeb in deal valued at about $340 million

Article Abstract:

USWeb Corp. has reached an agreement to acquire CKS Group for approximately $340 million. The deal entails an exchange of stock. Both firms have different fields of Internet expertise. USWeb's expertise is in technology. CKS' is in marketing services. The two firms will call their merged entity Reinvent Communications. They will also no longer use their current names.

World Wrestling says net took a beating in second quarter
