Ceske aerolinie (CSA) (Prague, Czech Republic), Czech Airlines, will become a member of the global airline alliance SkyTeam in 2001. The step will improve the prospect of CSA and its parent airport in Prague-Ruzyne. CSA saw a pre-tax profit of CEK 205.9 mil for 1H 2000. The firm saw a net profit of CEK 37 mil for all 1999. The airport in Prague-Ruzyne cleared 4.23 mil passengers during 1-3Q 2000, 16.4% more compared to 1-3Q 1999.
