China has had such a huge economic boom that the nation's infrastructure cannot cope with the demands of commerce. Chinese leaders fear economic collapse will follow the years of prosperity as it has in past cycles. Inflation and overextended credit are problems.

Industrial countries will experience the lowest inflation rates seen in thirty years during the 1990s. Financial analysts predict that movement towards zero inflation will cause bonds to perform better that equities.
