Potential clients, mailing lists and networking contacts are most commonly recorded in most marketing databases. Flat file databases such as Quattro Pro or Symphony are used for one to one database relationships, whereas one to many relationships require relational databases such as Access. Through the letterbox

Article Abstract:

Direct mail can be an important marketing tool for many architectural firms. However, it can only be a part of a wider marketing approach which includes activities such as press coverage and networking. Direct mail can improve awareness of a particular firm, highlight where it differs from its competitors, encourage the recipient to take action and give details of the benefits available to clients. It must be used on a regular basis, rather than just once.
