Clients give support to environmental code of practice for building services

Article Abstract:

The Building Services Research and Information Association (BSRIA) has produced a draft environmental code of practice. The code's recommendations are to be tested in practical applications during 1993 and the final code is to be published at the end of the year. Aimed at building service engineers, the code aims to define best practice in designing and refurbishing buildings with regard to the environment as well as reducing the ecological effects of building use. The code is relevant to architects, clients and others involved in building design and management.
