Clintonite Emanuel helps Wasserstein snare Unicom

Article Abstract:

Former US Pres Bill Clinton aide, Rahm Emanuel, joined investment banking firm, Wasserstein, Perella and Co. in early 1999 and brought the Unicom Corp-Peco Energy Co merger to the firm. Emanuel's access to corporate executives and his diplomatic skills show that more than technical skills are needed to be a successful investment banker.
