Coke shelves initiative of ex-chief

Article Abstract:

E. Neville Isdell, chief executive officer of Coca-Cola Co., has dropped the proposal made by his predecessor, Douglas Daft, to change the soft drink company's profit sharing agreement with its biggest bottler, Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. The two companies are currently re-negotiating their contract. Meanwhile, Isdell aims to turn the company's attention to reversing a negative trend in its sales.

Internet advertising agencies are branching out into print and billboard ads. Ikea has hired digital company Agency.com Ltd. to design all of its advertising in Great Britain, encompassing various advertising media.
