Coming of age in Andorra

Andorran voters are expected to ratify a constitution on Mar 14 which will allow the state to develop a judicial system and control its own foreign policy. The small nation has historic ties to both France and Spain but seeks political reform as it becomes a trade and tourist center.

Still coming: illegal aliens

Article Abstract:

The US has been unable to stem the tide of illegal immigrants, who are estimated to number about 3.5 million. It is thought 85-90% of them come from Mexico. Proposed methods of preventing their entry are likely to help little while US wages remain so much higher.
