GP - a C language implementation of genetic programming

Article Abstract:

Genetic programming written in ANSI C has been found to be easier to integrate to a larger system than its LISP counterpart and has been found to be more efficient than the LISP because it does not imitate an interpreter. Genetic programing can find a good methodology for solving a given problem and operations research may be able to take advantages of the C language's faster operating times than interpreted languages and broader base because of its being compiled and widespread.

The line index and minimum cut of weighted graphs

Article Abstract:

The line index and the minimum capacity, total of the weights in a minimum cut, of weighted graphs, relationships between the line index and the minimum capacity, between the two types of minimum capacities, and between graphs with only negative weights and graphs with both positive weights and negative weights are discussed. The generalization of algorithm of Orlova and Dorfman, and Hadlock to mixed graphs takes only a single step.
