Corporate merges with Milestone

Corporate Communications (CCL) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, has decided to merge its operations with St John's, Newfoundland-based Milestone Communications to create the new company, CCL Milestone. The consolidation was smoothly implemented because there are no conflicts in the two companies' portfolios. CCL's clients include Aliant, Atlantic Lottery Corp and Keith Brewery, while Milestone has PetroCanada/Terra Nova and Chevran International as clients.

Carz4free.com is a Calgary, Alberta-based advertising services company, which was launched in Jan 15, 2000. The company offers car advertisements and targets advertisers currently using billboards and wrapped public transit vehicles. According to company president Tom Kaptian, advertisers who will avail Carz4free's services can pick the car model they want, as well as ask the drivers to hand out samples or flyers of their products.
