Count down, but not out: Germany's Matuchka Group

Article Abstract:

Matuschka began to suffer problems when its leveraged buy-out of a metal company in 1988 resulted in a DM28 million loss. A new acting chief executive has been appointed and has the mandate to turn the company around in six months. The firm's founder Count Matuschka still owns 55%.
