Credit Suisse arm might scale back on underwriting

ING to continue job cuts at Barings Bank unit

Article Abstract:

ING Groep N.V. will continue to conduct layoffs at its investment banking unit, Barings Bank, due to the global slowdown taking place in financial markets. The bank will see additional layoffs to the 2,000 that were already announced in 2001.
