The prolific New York-based architect discusses his work in America and Europe, and the way he handles the criticism that sometimes goes with it.

Article Abstract:

The Urban designers built environments in such a way as to modify people's behavior. One such type includes the 'design out crime' which makes it difficult for the would-be criminals to gain access to residential areas or to operate unobserved, and especially by eliminating the dangerously dark and secluded alleys and underpasses that might provide cover for violent criminals.
