DANMARK: CONTROL OF PRODUCTION WITH WAP

Article Abstract:

Danish pump construction company Grundfos is now able to control the production at a Hungarian engine factory outside Budapest with WAP technology. In cooperation with Danish IT company Resource Software Engineering Grundfos has developed a remote control service that enables production leaders in any part of the world to start, stop and adjust production at the Hungarian factory. Electrical constructor Peder Nielsen at Grundfos does not yet wish to comment on the new technology and how much it is expected to save. In two or three months Grundfos will decide if this experiment is worth further development.
