DENMARK: GE TO INVEST IN REAL ESTATE MARKET

Article Abstract:

GE Capital, which is part of the American giant General Electric, will invest DKr 1-1.5bn (USD 0.14-0.2bn) in the real estate market in the Copenhagen region annually. Director Michael Carstensen says market values of Danish real-estate companies are underestimated. Besides acquiring companies, GE Capital will increase lending activities.

DENMARK: EU TO INVESTIGATE NEW LEGISLATION

Article Abstract:

The Commission of the European Union had decided to investigate the deregulation of the Danish electricity market in order to find out if it enhances unlawful subsidies from the government. Other countries that are about to be investigated by the Commission are; Austria, France, Holland, UK and Spain.
