DENMARK: LOWER INTEREST RATE AT SKANDIABANKEN

Skandiabanken has cut its deposit interest from 4.6 per cent to 4.35 per cent. This means that the competitor Basisbank now has the highest deposit interest in the country. According to Henrik Vad, chief executive of Skandiabanken, the bank has chosen always to follow the interest rate of the Danish National Bank, this time for the benefit of lenders. Skandiabanken is very pleased with its introduction on the Danish market. So far more than 35.000 customers have chosen to join the new Danish Internet bank.

DENMARK: NCC TO ENTER FACILITY MANAGEMENT MARKET

Article Abstract:

NCC, the Swedish building contractor, aims to enter the market for facility management. In Denmark, NCC has set up a special unit for facility management called NCC Service. According to Ole Sander, head of NCC Service, the concept facility management could range from the operation of day-care centres to painting and technical installation - there is no limit to facility management services.
