DENMARK: MERGER BETWEEN CONCRETE COMPANIES

H+H Expan and Fiboment, the two largest producers of concrete elements in Denmark, will merge by the beginning of 2000. The merged company will total 600 employees, seven plants in Denmark and one plant in Germany. Turnover will total DKr 550mn (USD 74mn).

DENMARK: SPAENCOM'S 1998/99 RESULTS

Article Abstract:

Spaencom, the Danish producer of concrete elements, reports a DKr 21.5mn (USD 3mn) net profit for the fiscal 1998/99, up from DKr 18.6mn in 1997/98. Operating profit increased by DKr 9.6mn to DKr 21.6mn, and turnover grew to DKr 647mn from DKr 557mn.
