DENMARK: NORDEX AIMS AT BECOMING MARKET LEADER

Article Abstract:

Nordex, the Danish subsidiary of the German group Babcock-Borsig, aims at becoming the market leader on the Danish wind power market. Until last year, the company focused on exports, but now its orderbook includes the erection of 85 wind power generators in Denmark in 2000. This is nearly twice as many . In future, Nordex will concentrate on huge generators, even though the awarded contracts include smaller generators with 800-1,300 MW capacity each.
