DENMARK: NOVOZYMES INTRODUCES NEW E-LEARNING SYSTEM

Novozymes, the Danish biotechnology company producing enzymes, will start using a new e-learning system called Best (Better Enzyme Solution Training) that will make it possible for its clients to get more in-depth information about enzymes and how to use them in their products. This will thus enable Novozymes to help its clients in "brand building" and adjust its products to client demands. Mette Vestergaard, Novozymes' e-business director, says the e-learning system will bring about an improved dialogue with its clients and make them more loyal to Novozymes.

House of Multimedia, the Danish media company, is to start selling its entire range of children and adult games, encyclopedias and DVD films via the Internet. Karsten Jacobsen, head of House of Multimedia, predicts that the share of e-commerce of the company's total turnover will soon grow to 10% as all products offered online are in stock.
