DRL ACQUIRES 5 BRANDS FROM DOLPHIN LAB

Article Abstract:

Dr Reddy's laboratories (DRL) has bought 5 brands, styptovit, styptomet, styptochrome, doxt and trichodol, from Dolphin Laboratories Ltd of Calcutta. Doxt is an antibiotic, trichodol a hepato protective drug while the other three come under the therapeutic category. DRL has also acquired the manufacturing and marketing rights for a sixth brand, dicynene, which comes under the category of haemostatics. These acquisitions have enhanced DRL's therapeutic profile and the company expects an additional turnover of Rs25 crore from these products. (khr)
