DaimlerChrysler targets mass market in Europe

DaimlerChrysler AG is targeting the mass automobile market in Europe. The company is hoping to introduce a new Chrysler brand automobile that will rapidly gain a major market share. Juergen Hubbert, a board member of DaimlerChrysler who is in charge of passenger cars, said that the company's top priority is to produce a new car for markets in Europe.

World Bank targets forest preservation - climate link

Article Abstract:

The World Bank is launching a $250 mil investment fund as a reward to countries that enact policies that curb deforestation. The pilot project differs from other climate change prevention efforts in that its focus targets forestry management rather than emissions control.
