Decomposition of the fuzzy parametric space in multiobjective nonlinear programming problems

Article Abstract:

Decomposition of the fuzzy parametric space in multiobjective nonlinear programming involves the use of the generalized Tchebycheff norm. The approach is simpler than the nonnegative weighted sum of objectives approach and several results can relate two fuzzy programs with each other. The relationships are characterized by one program with fuzzy parameters in the constraints and one program with fuzzy parameters in both objective functions and constraints.

Bifurcation and adaptation in evolutionary interactive multiobjective linear programming

Article Abstract:

The evolutionary problem description/solution, adaptation and categories of bifurcation points, and evolutionary convergence of interactive Multiobjective Linear Programming (MOLP) are discussed. It is shown that the Evolutionary Systems Design framework can be used for adapting and restructuring optimization problems developed for MOLP. A sample application of evolutionary interactive MOLP is also presented.

PROMISE/scenarios: an interactive method for multiobjective stochastic linear programming under partial uncertainty

Article Abstract:

Generally, in a situation of partial uncertainty where the use of scenarios could be suitable, it is believed that it is sometimes easier for the decision maker to specify a preference order on scenarios than to assign to them a probability distribution. A scenarios approach and an interactive method called PROMISE/scenarios is presented and is illustrated by a didactic example.
